At Fundación Xignux, transparency and accountability are fundamental principles, which is why we are pleased to share the achievements we reached over the past year within the framework of our strategic initiative, APIS (Priority Areas for Social Investment: Energy, Nutrition, Education, and Community Development).
Through our collaboration with 71 social organizations and 76 projects, we positively impacted a total of 33,839 people.
Highlighted Projects:
- Encouraging Young Entrepreneurial Talent: This year, we partnered with UANL on its Tiger Tank project, a platform focused on innovative initiatives related to energy and nutrition. 16 teams from faculties such as FIME and FACPYA, as well as high schools, participated. The winning project, “Recy Protein”, aims to create sustainable solutions in the food sector.
- Energy for All: This program provides sustainable solar energy to remote communities, improving their quality of life and ensuring accessible energy for all. In 2024, we accomplished the following:
- Supported 118 people in two communities by installing 40 solar systems, displacing 21.45 tons of CO2 annually.
- Expanded service in 12 locations, upgrading systems to benefit 31 additional people, reducing another 3.63 tons of CO2.
- Gamer with a Cause: This event transformed gamer energy into support for social organizations. We benefited 583 people through partnerships with 12 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). This initiative promoted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Zero Hunger and Good Health and Well-being.
